We are located at 1430 High St, Williamsburg, VA 23188, a five-minute drive away from the downtown Williamsburg/College of William and Mary area.
Le Yaca started in 1964/65, in a little village, in the French Alps. This little village, Le Praz, is located about 8 kilometers below a now very international ski resort: Courchevel. At the time, it was just a promising skiing destination. When Gerard Gormier showed Daniele Bourderau a house in the village, given to him by his father, with a big fireplace, right away she knew it would make a charming and interesting restaurant. That was the beginning of what became the first Le Yaca. The brilliant remodeling of the house into a restaurant, original menu and warm hospitality, assured this little place an immediate success during the winter season.
In 1968, the second Le Yaca opened in Saint-Tropez for the spring and summer and was also an immediate success.
1980 was the year the third Le Yaca moved to the United States and established itself in Williamsburg, at a Kingsmill area location. Daniel Abid was one of the first chefs at the Williamsburg location. His talent as a chef, organizer and teacher of young assistants has helped the restaurant to gain its reputation.
In 2001, Daniel and his wife Joy bought Le Yaca. Their consistency in preparing quality food and providing exceptional service made it even more successful. January 16, 2014 marked the opening of the fourth Le Yaca at the High Street Location. Daniel and Joy Abid have respected the same ambiance (with a little help of the original creators).
Our extensive cocktail menu features both classic and contemporary creations, expertly crafted by our mixologists.

We have visited here a number of times for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Each time was excellent on every front. A great place for a celebratory dining experience. It's patronized by both locals and tourists for good reason.
My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary there and we were amazed. The staff is awesome, the food was incredible and our waitress was impeccable. We will be back and we will bring others. This was by far THE best meal we have ever eaten, and we are from Washington DC where you can dine on Michelin star restaurants easily. This meal and restaurant supersedes all expectations.
Dinner for three to celebrate a milestone in my daughter's nursing education. The service, atmosphere and food is amazing! I had the filet and crab cake. At first, I was concerned that the chef went overboard on the peppercorn sauce on the filet, but wow! It was just right. The crab cake was like none other I've experienced in this region. Highly recommended!
Absolutely wonderful experience here! I kept hearing such great things and I'm so glad I finally came to try for myself! We made reservations and there was no wait at all. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and location are all incredible! We came here for the three course lunch special, I had the salmon and my husband had the pork, both are delicious! The desserts are so yummy and hard to choose from! We already can't wait to come back again!
